Cabinet card photo was found in Jefferson City, Missouri. It is one of the larger cabinet cards photos. The size of the photo dates the portrait to 1900-1910. The photo is in very good shape with a clear and sharp image of the subject. The portrait was taken at Medlar’s Studio in Woodstock, McHenry County, Illinois. The back of the photo is labeled “Olive Dygert”. Olive appears to be about eight years-old at the time of the photo.

The 1910 census from Greenwood, McHenry County, Illinois includes the family of Guy and Myrtle Dygert. Children of Guy and Myrtle are Olive, Lillian, Glen, and Floyd. Greenwood township is just north of Woodstock where the photo was taken, Olive is eight years-old at the time of the 1910 census. Olive is still living with the family in 1920. Daughter Loraine, born about 1900 is also listed with the family in 1920.
