Marie Rullman

Card photograph was found in Sedalia, Missouri and is in fair condition. There is some spotting on the photo, in particular on the forehead of Marie, but the details of the portrait are still clear. The card photo is smaller than a standard cabinet card, the dimensions are: 3.25 x 5.25 inches. The photograph was made at Van Doran’s in Hiawatha, Kansas. The back of the card is labeled in black ink “Marie Rullman-Hiawatha, Kansas-Sept. 15,1906”.

The 1900 census from Hiawatha, Kansas list Marie living with her parents Frank and “Minnie” Rullman. Also living with the family are Marie’s siblings Howard and Melba. The 1910 census finds the family still living in Hiawatha and two more children have been add to the family, Donald and Phillip. The 1920 census finds Frank and Minnie with children Melba, Donald and Phillip living in Beatrice, Nebraska. By 1930 Frank and Minnie are living alone in Troy, Kansas. Frank and Minnie are buried in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Troy Doniphan County Kansas.
