Cabinet card photo was found in Jefferson City, MO. The back is labeled “Lewis Palmer May Dollie”. The left corner where the name of the photographer should be is missing. The right corner of the photo list location as Adrien, MO. Adrien, Missouri is located in Bates County not far from Kansas City, Missouri. The Carte De Visite was also found with the above photo. Photo is labeled “Dollie and May Palmer, November 15 1895”.
A search of the 1900 and 1910 census records did not return any results matching Lewis, May and Dollie Palmer. However, the 1900 census from Deer Creek, Bates County, Missouri includes a Lewis Palmer with his wife Annie E and daughters Annie L and Alvena. 1910 census from Adrien, Bates County, Missouri includes a Lou Palmer living with his wife Annie, Mrs. Dollie Lawson (daughter), George Lawson (son-in-law), and Aubra Harmon (grandson). On the 1920 census from again Deer Creek, Bates County, Missouri list a Lewis Palmer living with wife Annie, daughter Dolly Lawson, George Lawson (son-in-law) and Aubrey Harmon (grandson).

Dolly Palmer married to George Lawson in Bates County, Missouri on January 12, 1908. The marriage is listed in Vernon County but the record list Bates.
A. May Palmer married to H.E. Harmon, Adrien, Bates County, Missouri on June 17, 1900. Permission was given by “the ladies father L. Palmer”.

Annie Lois Lawson #17006, died May 10, 1953 in Bates County, Missouri. Husband listed as George Lawson, parents Lewis Palmer and Annie Kindle, buried Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Bates County, Missouri. Informant on the death certificate was May Ferguson.
