Earl, Eugina and Beatrice Case
Cabinet card was found in Sedalia, Missouri. The photo is of the larger cabinet card size which helps to date the portrait to after 1900. The card is in good condition with some spotting on the portrait part of the photo. The back of the card is labeled Earl, Gene and Beatrice Case, Parents Mr. and Mrs. H.D. Case. A small photographers stamp gives location as Otterville, MO. The cabinet card was found with photos of Leo and Leta Smith.
The 1910 census includes Earl, Beatrice and Eugina Case living in Otterville, Cooper County, Missouri. The Case children are listed with parents Hiram D and Ida Case. Other siblings listed on the 1910 census record are Elma, Amy, Roy and Mable. The 1920 census finds the family still living in Otterville. Beatrice married Leo J. Smith August 23, 1922. Orphaned Case and Smith photos were found in the same antique store in Sedalia. Many of the Case and Smith family members are buried in the Otterville I.O.O.F. cemetery in Otterville, Cooper County, MO. Cooper County Genweb site has a transcription of this cemetery.
